PHOTO OPPORTUNITIES/DAY TRIPS
During our monthly Photo Share meetings it became apparent that many of our members, being relative newcomers to Florida, were not aware of the various locations, many within a day’s drive of The Villages, which are available for photo ops.
The Photography Club at Sunset Pointe has compiled a list of some of these places, along with their websites, so that our members may check out for themselves some of the familiar, and less familiar, places of interest that are available to take pictures.
If anyone has other suggestions, please see Madelyne Raksnis with the information.
In addition, if you know of a local photo opportunity – maybe hidden within plain sight within The Villages, i.e., the path that goes from the covered bridge near Barnes & Noble over to the children’s playground, or something interesting just outside “the compound”, please let us know about them also. If it is outside of The Villages, please provide a written description and exact driving directions.
